What a March! I will keep my opening short and sweet, not unlike myself. It's not my fault the genes passed down to me made me vertically challenged, I still say 5'8.32 tall is average! Now back to the lecture at hand, March was a huge month of growth for Liberty, several new family members, people getting promotions, and some big anniversaries! Hang on to your briches, this is gonna be a long one!

The Liberty Family is growing! Learn a lil more about your new family members! Remember to let them know about the newsletter and how y'all look forward to it every month. Then point out the "Shout Out" section where they can let me know how awesome I am!

Any random facts you could share with us? – I have never barely seen the 1st three Harry Potter movies and they were forced upon me by my older sister.

What story does your family always tell about you? – They love to tell the story of how independent I was even at 4 years old. My best friend and I decided we wanted to pick a bunch of flowers located in an empty next to the grocery store; about 4-5 miles away from our houses and we didn’t tell anyone about going. On our way back we ran into my older sister walking home from Kindergarten with her friends. She saw the flowers and knew where we had been and proceeded to “tell on” us to our parents, who promptly grounded us. Of course, as soon as I was off restriction, I went right back to pick more flowers. Needless to say, I was grounded again.

Where's Jerry? I know, he's movin' around more than a one legged duck trying to cross a pond, Jerry has once again kept a journal of his going ons and I have once again created an interactive masterpiece, the likes of which has never been seen. Unless you read this column last month, then you have seen something similar. Please act overwhelmed with my genius, maybe toss in a gasp or single applause, just to spark intrige and get the family around you to gain interest.

We have some big anniversaries to share with y'all this month! We have some 5 year and a 20 year!!! It says a lot about a company that has so many long time family members, it's no wonder we are finding and welcoming so much awesome new talent!
Mary Lock - 5 Years

Take it away Mary-

“Whoo hoo!  March on baby…five years is good.  Melissa and I were trudging buddies in the beginning! 😊  Now we get more vacation time, right??” - Mary Lock

Melissa Silvera - 5 Years

The floor is yours-

“I have experienced a great deal of personal and professional growth in the last 5 years and I seriously couldn’t imagine going through any of it without the support and love of my Liberty family! Thank you for being there through all the tears – both happy and sad. Thank you for always pushing me. Thank you for matching my sarcasm and checking my attitude as much as humanly possible. I got lucky with my coworkers, I got lucky with managers, and I know this luck won’t run out as long as I’m at Liberty. Taking the plunge to leave my comfort zone and come to this company was one of the best decisions I ever made.

Jake Snyder - 1 Year

Jake, any questions?-

“Is there gonna be food?”- Jake Snyder

Gustavo has asked to not be thrown into the limelight. I guess not everyone craves attention like I do, weird! Much to his shagrinn we have to announce and celebrate such an amazing achievement, 20 years with M&M ( and now Liberty!) If you read the "Where's Jerry?" piece from this month already, you would know that Gustavo started his career at the age of 14, washing lawyers cars and stuffing the glove box with marketing pieces, which is mostly not fake news. From such humble beginings he is now a Partner in the Novato office. Next time you see him, make up a super secret handshake and from now into eternity use it every time y'all cross paths.  Congrats, Gustavo!

Another year another IICF Western Division Horizon Award Gala. Jon Axel, Adam Baillie, Cheri Amaro, Michelle Cassidy, and my beastie Billy Johnson represented Liberty with style and class. A total of $415,000 in community grants went to 53 local nonprofits throughout the Western states during the first quarter of the year.

Another $235,000 was raised by Thursday’s gala through sponsorships, table sales, a live auction and individual donations. It is beyond awesome that we get to be a part of this event every year. Be proud you don't work for an "evil corporation!"

Employee Appreciation day was a hit! Liberty does not waffle on appreciating it's employees, get it....we had waffles for appreciation breakfast. We dont like the word employees though, here at LANN we use family instead. With that in mind I think we should have another celebration of the likes on September 26th, the real National Family day. Any excuse to get a free breakfast. I expect Jerry to make it to my office for that day, Woodland Hills had their breakfast Jerry time. BTW, I have heard breakfast Jerry is in the top 5 best Jerry's. Right above wine Jerry, but below holiday Jerry. Don't get me started on Sunday driver Jerry, that Jerry knows how to have a good time, but at a safe and cautious speed! OC and SJ also had breakfast for their employees, it is nice to feel like Tupac's mom, appreciated.

The Liberty Cup found it's first home in early February. You may remember from last month that the San Jose office won The Cup in January and with it a catered lunch, which is pictured below. Let me be the first to say, y'all kilt it! Straight kilt!
The San Jose Office had a super rad Scavenger Hunt to celebrate St. Patricks day! In actuality it looks like they just wanted to rub our noises in the fact that they were the first winners of The Liberty Cup. That's cool, I belong to no office I am the peoples Marketer, the royale we if you will. I swear when it ends up in the OC we shall raise it to Valhalla and praise Odin as we shoot Jameson from its golden bosom. It shall reign life upon us all!
San Jose  got their knowledge on with training on CPR & AED. I can only imagine that there were several times they rubbed the paddles together and yelled "clear." Well at least that is what I would do, I would probably fail that class. Actually be warned don't be around me if you need help!
Have a coworker, boss, or Kip that you would like to give a pat on the back to? Give 'em a shout out! Click the link above and let us know what's going on!
Have a suggestion? Above is a box to put it in! It's anonymous so let us know how you really feel!

“Minglin’ With Monica” We have done it again, Monica's have Mingled and you all can't wait, and you don’t have to!!!

Would you rather be able to breath under water or fly? What would you do with your new abilities, and how would they work?

Monica Gomez-

I am really torn.  I would really like to fly for obvious reasons, but I don’t do too well in the sun.  So, my only other option is breathing underwater.  In true Waterworld fashion, I will have gills behind my ears, a la Kevin Costner, and they would operate in true fish fashion.  My gills would be able to extract the oxygen from the water and direct it to my lungs. Yes, my human lungs.  In this life,, I will still be able to retain my human lung functions too.  My body will have an internal “auto switch” depending if I am on land or in water.  The purpose of breathing underwater, well this would come in handy when land-life goes to the dumps (i.e.: nuclear war, global warming erodes the land and my apartment falls in the water, or I am simply annoyed by the humans).   Unfortunately, me and Sponge Bob won’t have matching pineapple homes, but with all the debris in the ocean I will likely be able to build a house of some sort.

Does Christine Approve? Well I know the answer, and you will soon. Remember hit us up and ask all the questions you need answers to.

Spring?- Thumbs Up- But I do love Summer better

LANN-Seriously, you can't sing the greatest song, "Summer Nights" from the 3rd greatest musical, Grease, without summer.
Hockey? -  Nope, Not a sports fan, Thumbs Down

LANN-I pronounce my u's I am not a hockey fan. oot and aboot I am confused.

Netflix Originals?- Thumbs Up- Can’t live without

LANN-Why did they make a 2nd stranger things? So disappointed....Sad!

Dogs?- As long as they don’t lick me 😊

LANN- ......hehe an italicized happy emoji looks funny.

Playing in the snow?-  Thumbs Up- So Cold but so worth it!!!!

LANN- No sassy quip from me here, I agree.
